Latin: Brodiaea coronaria
Description: Also known as Harvest Lily, this plant grows up to 30 cm tall with 1–3 thin, grass-like leaves springing from a deep, scaly corm. Its upright, violet flowers (2–4 cm long) bloom in clusters of 3 to 5 after the leaves have dried out.
Harvest and Sustainability: They grow in rocky meadows and slopes. The season to harvest is early to mid-spring.
Uses: Corm bulbs are eaten. it is harvested with a long digging stick since the corms are deep in the soil.
